Here is the summary of what I learnt from the service
Kindly watch the video below,
We've learned that we're not deserving of God's blessings, and that the responsibilities entrusted to us aren't just for preachers and church elders, but for everyone.
We should not take God's generosity and gifts for granted; instead, we should be modest and simple in how we use our gifts in accordance with God's purpose.
1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
2 Corinthians 8:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
We don't need to tell them we're from the true God; instead, let our good acts speak for themselves.
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
John 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Pastors, teachers, preachers, and leaders are the shepherds that the Bible is referring to.
A leader should lead by example, rule with humility, and be humble in his or her actions.
To his followers, a leader should provide an example. Whatever responsibility we have, we must use it to help others.
Worship God despite the circumstances. Kneeling before any graven picture is not a good idea. We don't know how we'll be able to keep up with his flawlessness.
It is by continuing to do nice deeds that this can be accomplished.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Shalom!
