Here is what I learnt from the Prayer Meeting, kindly watch the video below.
We should not forsake the assembly of ourselves as the followers of Christ, we should come together to learn more by sharing knowledge in the word of God as God giveth grace.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Do not deceived by false doctrine
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Doing good works should be our priorities and we can't do good works without faith, love and hope.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Besides these three, we need patience and endurance as Christians. If God doesn't prompt us to do good we cannot do good. Be a lover of God and your fellow men.
Titus 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Titus 1:8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Titus 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision.
We should remind one another of the teaching of the doctrine of Christ so as to act on it.
2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed.
The doers of the word shall be richly blessed and not the hearers and preachers.
Held firmly unto the true doctrine of Christ.
2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.
Whatsoever your hands finds doing, do it diligently and with all your might.
Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Your behaviour depends on what you learnt, what you see what you think.
Proverbs 3:27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it .
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Shalom!
