2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
With the above scripture, there is a process of change that we have to go through when we are for Christ.
The change can only be done through and only by the Holy Spirit and perfected through baptism, as we are dead and raised in Him.
Rom 6:4:Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life
Brother Elis also pointed out in his teachig that they are two type of sin.
Sin not unto death: This is an unintentional sin, and we are advice to pray for any one who is a victim of this type of sin.
Sin unto death: This is a sin committed willingly without any desire for change and the bible advice not to pray for such person
1 John 5:10: If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
The Bible further advice the church to reject anyone that commits sin continually, that is a sin unto death.
Any sin committed against the Holy Spirit as no forgiveness and it is blasphemy.
Other sins unto death are as follows
Eating blood of animals
Eating food given to idols
Eating strangled animals
