So baptism is not a necessity to be baptized in Jordan river, one can also be baptized in his/her local river
The major question now is that who will administer the right of baptism, we can not just baptized by anybody.
Matthew 28:19-20
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
According to the above scripture the only person who as the right to administer baptism is the one who is capable of teaching all the laws and commandments of Jesus Christ.
So we are only advice to receive baptism from someone who is able to teach all the commandments of Jesus Christ who is not ignorant of the bible teaching.
