Hello!
Hey. It is late apple season in Finland, and we were given some apples by an elderly lady in a neighbouring house. We already made some apple sauce from them.
Today we made an apple crumble...
Filling the casserole (tin? pan?):
Recipe
- Apples
- (cinnamon powder)
- (sugar)
- 75 g butter
- 0,75 dl treacle
- 1β2 tbsp wheat flour
- 4 dl oatmeal
Slice thin-ish apple slices into the dish.
Optionally sprinkle some cinnamon powder (and sugar if your apples are too sour).
Melt the butter and mix in the treacle and flour. Heat until it thickens. Take the kettle off the stove and mix in the oatmeal.
Spread the mix on top.
Bake in the bottom rack at 175Β°C for 30 to 35 minutes.
After oven:
Custard or vanilla icecream tastes very good with the apple crumble.
(This photo doesn't serve it justice though.)
Later I went for a walk and took some interesting shots with my smartphone...
I hope you liked this post!
See ya!
