Web3 Chess!
Here's my video review of Immortal Game, a play and earn web3 NFT chess game on the Immutable X platform.
I've been playing for over a month now and I'm addicted. I love chess, so this wasn't a hard sell for me. Owning the pieces (which look pretty awesome by the way!) is such a cool idea. And they give out ETH every week in multiple game modes, including a free to play mode or two!

The fact that each piece has its own quest is also very much addicting, trying to build out the best group of pieces you can.
Quest Hunting
Some of the quests you have to complete will make you play the game in an outright terrible way. Some examples include "Your pawns can only move 1 square" or "You cannot move your King".
How are you supposed to play chess like that?!

Luckily you can buy and sell pieces on the market and pick up some pieces with easy quests! My favorite easy pieces are "Win with 4 pawns alive" and "Win before turn 40".
Sure sometimes I will fail those quests but quite often they just complete themselves in the course of a natural normal blitz game of chess.
Standard Mode
If you don't want to be bothered by quests, you can also just play in standard mode. Why play in all the different modes? Did I mention they give away ETH every single week for each mode?
