Wild garden - worth living in

Hello everyone!

Today I would like to invite you to take a walk with me through our garden.

When we bought this house 8 years ago with the property, our wish was to create a small paradise for people and animals.

Our garden is especially adapted to the needs of a variety of insects, butterflies, snakes (smooth snake, dice snake, grass snake), frogs, newts. Birds such as starlings, magpies, blackcaps, pigeons, many species of tits, crows, hoopoes…,
Hedgehog, praying mantis and much more adapted.

We only have this variety of birds because we offer them plenty of food all year round.

We have planted hundreds of trees, shrubs and plants to date, always with a view to their benefits for insects, birds and us.

The importance of deadwood, piles of bushes and mowing the lawn infrequently not only benefits our laziness, but primarily our smaller housemates.

It is fascinating how many herbs and medicinal plants grow by themselves if you let them, girsch, Germander, centaury, St. John's wort, sorrel, garlic mustard, dandelion, daisies, horseradish and much more.

On this tour, it can be fun to guess the individual bushes and trees.

Are you ready, yes...then go!
