I always have watched this celebration on TV, but I never thought that I would be here with my family celebrating it.
United States of America, the country where you could make your dreams come true. I come to this country plenty of time when I was a kid, but then, the political socio-economic situation in my country didn’t let us to come again. After a couple of long years, finally I came back here.
Now that I’m a adult, I realized so many thing that a didn’t as a kid, like how kindly is people here. I realized now because at that time when I was a kid, everyone is nice to a kid, so that doesn’t count, but now that I’m on m 20’s people is still kind, helpful, they are always asking about how was your day or if they can help you with something, and it doesn’t feel in a interested way to take our money, it feels like they really care, because its something that every normal citizen do, so I like that.
To be honest, I don’t like fireworks. It’s something that scares animals so much, and for me that is something that must be avoid in celebrations. But I can deny that most of the people likes them, and if it’s their way to celebrate the Independence Day, I’m happy to celebrate with them.
The day was a little cloudy, people was getting prepared for the night. The past few days were raining a lot, so we were hoping that doesn’t happen this day.
People were sitting on the grass like if they were on a camp, playing and talking, just waiting to the firework show begins.
We didn’t do so much, we just do the same, sit down, start talking and takin some photos of the place. I thought I would see people with those crazy American costumes, but everybody was dressed very normal haha.
It really was a good afternoon with my family.
After a couple of hours, the night was approaching, everyone was getting prepared to watch the fireworks. It was long time we waited, but we had a good time together.
And in just a few minutes the firework started to show up.
It was 15 minutes of fireworks without stop, beautiful colors, it was very hypnotic. Something was that a few people brought their dogs and most of them didn’t scare a little bit, others were barking a lot, but only a few of them. At the end everything went fine, we enjoyed a lot and we could celebrate the Independence Day.
Blessing for the people in this country.
