Spaghetti garnished with lemongrass and mushroom

Have you tried mushroom, lemongrass and spaghetti before?, if not, you should try it because is not just tasty but healthy

Before now, i only add lemongrass to just soups, especially one particular traditional soup used to serve special visitors in my locality.

But after seeing the #hivetopchef topic of the week hosted by @qurator, I decided to try my lemongrass with spaghetti since I have some spaghetti in my store and above all,
I wanted to experiment my lemongrass with other dish aside that local soup.

Am glad I did because the recipe really looks and taste awesome.

The added mushroom completed the entire recipe and gave me the exact taste that that I was looking for.

Follow me as I write in details, the ingredients used and process involved.....



Ingredients

Half sachet of spaghetti
2 sticks of lemongrass
A handful of mushroom
One sachet of tomato (paste)
Half cup of groundnut oil
1 spring onion
Pepper to taste
salt to taste
Water ( big enough for cooking )



Procedure



Step 1

Add a clean water to a pot, add salt and allow to boil.
Add your spaghetti,cover and cook till tender, then drain out the excess water using a sieve and set aside.

Step 2

Slice your spring onion and mushroom and set aside.
Remove the outer layer of your lemongrass. wash it ,cut into rings and set aside.

Step 3

In another clean pot, pour your groundnut oil, onions,and tomato paste.
Stir for ten seconds ,then your spaghetti and continue stirring it.

Remove your heat and set aside

Add oil to another pot, add the remaining spring onion,add the sliced lemongrass and stir for some time, then add the mushrooms and remaining spring.

Add the spaghetti and Stir together.
Remove from heat and serve.
