I've just updated my nutrition site - V-Nut. And..euh.. I never[1] wrote about it on PeakD! So..
The (uncomfortably big [2]) images here already say more than words.
Further on, everything else is pretty much explained in the FAQ on the site, such as..
- ..the unique features no other site offers
- ..why I created the site originally
- ..why USDA isn't that bad as scientific source
Some ideas on how to use the site:
- Want to make sure you are not missing any nutrients?
- Want to see what's exactly the deal with some super foods?
- Want to check out your recipe's real nutritional values?
- Want to even put your fellow vegan to the test if that social media post about some super food is really accurate [3]?
- Want to sort all vegan food by highest iron content or any other other nutrients?
Enjoy!
All (constructive) feedback and proposals always welcome!
Footnotes
"_1"(1) To be honest, PeakD is not popular enough for me to use. I hardly use it anymore. But I still thought some people here would not want to my site. Eh.. ↩
Still now ay to make the images smaller and keep the click-enlarge option on Peakd? 😢 ↩
Unfortunately overexaggerated vegan "miracle" posts happen still a lot and damages the vegan movement. ↩
I know, they are actually not that rare and a lot of vegans have actually better intakes that non-vegans, but I had to call it something.. And some vegans really need to take more care of them after all.. ↩
