Let's process papaya into something more interesting

Because there are too many papaya fruits in my garden and the papaya fruits ripen at the same time, I tried to make something new, namely a combination of whole fruit with Agar-Agar flour that I made. This idea just came to my mind when I just woke up from a nap and without waiting long I immediately practiced it. And if you ask how many times I have made this recipe, my answer is this is the first time for me and my success in this recipe is 95 percent.

Ingredients used:

1. 1 small or medium sized papaya

2. 1 glass of water (I use this size because the papaya is small)

3. 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar

4. 65 ML of instant coconut milk

5. ½ tablespoon of young coconut flavored agar-agar flour (I use this agar-agar flour because it has a slightly savory taste when made like the aroma of real young coconut and this agar-agar flour also has no color, but if you don't have any, just use the colorless agar-agar flour)

How to make:

1. The first step I take is to peel the papaya

2. Then cut it in half and remove the seeds

3. After that, I'm actually embarrassed to tell you the next step, but I have to share this funny story with you. I want to form a flower pattern in my pudding later so I will use a fruit spoon that has a small round shape but because the spoon was lost I tried to use a bottle cap but it seemed to fail because at the end of the story the pudding shape was not visible at all..ha..ha.. but for the taste, don't doubt it anymore.

4. After the papaya is finished being formed, then set it aside first, the next step is I pour water into the pan

5. Then I add the coconut milk

6. Then I mix in the granulated sugar

7. I mix in the Agar-Agar powder and stir until smooth

9. After that, cook over low heat until boiling

10. After boiling, slowly pour in the finished Agar-Agar

11. Then let it cool and can be cut later for about 1-2 hours

After it was cold, I cut it and you can see for yourself that no flowers were formed. Even so, I can still smile because the combination of pudding and papaya is very soft and the taste is not too sweet so I really like it. The texture of the pudding reminds me of soft Chinese tofu. You should try it. And greetings from me, Maytom, Indonesia
