Hello, friends, food lovers, and community greetings. Today I tried different ways to make my tandoori cauliflower which I grilled in the oven. These days we have the opportunity to get locally-grown vegetables,
I was planning this recipe for a long time. So today with this nice fresh cauliflower I made it.
Ingredients:
1 cauliflower
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
juice from 1/2 lime.
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 garam masala
2 tsp tandoori masala
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
1 slice of lemon
1 tsp cornstarch.
2 tsp oil.
In the very hot water added salt
And put cauliflower in the water.
Kept it in water for 5-6 minutes.
After draining the water, dried the cauliflower using a kitchen towel. Cut it into slices.
And sprinkled salt, turmeric, and chili powder on it.
Rubbed lime juice on the cauliflower slices.
Kept aside for 5 minutes.
Added peanuts cornstarch, all spices garam masala, tandoori masala, lemon, and 2 pinches of salt in a mixer.
Using an appropriate quantity of water made a fine paste. This paste can hold for 1 week in the fridge And use for some more different recipes.
The paste looks like this.
Marinate cauliflower using spice, and peanut paste.
Kept aside marinated cauliflower for around 15 minutes. I used aluminum foil on the tray.
Used 2 tsp oil on an iron skillet,
Using high heat, set the cauliflower slices. and covered, cooked for 3 minutes,
Turned them and cooked 2 minutes more.
Preheated oven on grill setting.
And grilled cauliflower around 3 minutes from each side.
It is so simple and easy to make it.
served with red cabbage, tomato slices, and pieces of avocado. and onion rings. with vegan hummus.
Hope you like it thank you to all readers.
