When I first saw this story on Dreemport, I was about to write it off as something I wouldn't need to waste my time on when curating...
I'm so glad I didn't 😭✨.
These United States
Delaware
Staying Forever
I guess to classify this series, I would call it a series within a series.
The main series name is "These United States", and from what I'm seeing, it has different stories in it, which is so cool 😀✨.
Anyways the story that I want to bring to you all today is the first story in The "These United States" umbrella.
Delaware 🦅🐴
Plot
John had lived a humble life in Lincolnshire till his thirst for a better social rank in life led him to get close with a high standing Christian Colonist and relocate to the new world somewhere in America.
The land welcomed John and his wife Mary, welcomed them perhaps too well?
@stuartcturnbul takes us on one hell of a ride in this wonderful series.
Starting from Early Britain in the 1680's we're first introduced to the main character John getting a scolding from his wife because of his religious differences and the they get the chance to change it all, get in with the big leagues out there in those days..
It's marvelous how one can progress from such an easy beginning to a story about immortality that grips at the hearts and emotions of the reader.
I think the one thing I liked about the story was the build of the characters.
It's so detailed and intriguing that you can imagine the characters right there with you.
Another aspect about the characters that was especially nailed here is the emotions they portray, the big tears of sorrow and the fleeting laughter's of joy that they showcase that help brings life to the character and the story at a whole.
I think the one thing that he should be given a bravo for is the amount knowledge from the past that he brings with each story.
Albeit it being watered down, I feel any story with knowledge impacting capabilities is one that should be cherished ✨.
Overall Rating
A solid 8 stars out of 10, the story building, characters and book as a general is just too good.
To be honest I don't know what you're waiting for....
