Hello dear friends I hope you are well, this time I will speak again of my favorite author of all, PAULO COELHO with his first book written THE PILGRIM, (Diary of a magician) being something more than a book is the experience of the author of the road to Santiago that the writer made in the year 1986, This book is a novel of his adventures as well as fantastic parables, a bit fanciful, but I imagine that it was part of his strategy to catch the readers.
Along the way Paulo faces a series of tests and exercises, he meets people or things happen that test his faith, dangerous situations appear that test his determination, as well as temptations appear, besides knowing his personal demons, he needs to make this journey to get rid of them and find his sword, which is nothing more than finding the path in life that he should have chosen. It invites us to find our own path in life and fight for our dreams.
Having said that, the story is quite good, as it presents us with the simplicity of life, the simplicity of things, the importance of the basics, putting aside banal things, inviting us to use the positive aspects that are presented to us and discard the negative, in order to value and understand everything that happens to us every day.
What stands out in this book or rather what I liked the most is that the author invites us to be persistent in life, to achieve our dreams, besides discovering our own path and forge our own destiny, trying day by day not to mortify ourselves in the problems that afflict us daily, on the contrary take the good side of those things and transform every negative thought, in this way we can achieve our dreams, fight with our inner demons and destroy them completely.
"The pursuit of happiness is personal."
"There is no sin in being HAPPY."
In short, the Pilgrim of Compostela is the story of the author's rebirth, besides doing many things before becoming a writer, he understood that writing was what he needed to express his feelings and to show the readers the best way for us to express ours. It is a book that does not leave us indifferent, so I invite you to read it with an open mind and heart, whatever religion you are, just understand that we all struggle with our negativity, and we must always find spiritual peace, abandon the stress we have and enjoy the little things that life gives us, This is what the author tries to share with us. LIFE LIKE THE WAY OF SANTIAGO is a difficult but beautiful and wonderful way if we know how to take advantage of all the good things that happen to us, and know how to face the bad things too, enjoying every step we take, enjoying our life since we only have one life to live.
