Hello!
Now I am 40 km from the city of Tver and a couple of days ago we visited this beautiful old city in
Russia. It is mentioned in ancient chronicles and has a glorious history.
Its location at the confluence of the Tvertsa and the Volga determined its importance as a transport and trade hub. In general, from the very beginning, it was an important cultural center.
We went to Tver to show our granddaughters the Volga. Therefore, we mostly wandered along the embankment. White cruise ships, openwork lattices, golden domes of white churches - all this creates a special atmosphere that sets you up for calm contemplation and relaxation.
Spans of bridges and cumulus clouds create their own volumes and form their own space. There is a sense of space and breadth here.
Обустройство набережной позволяет находится рядом с водой реки. В жаркий летний день это особенно ценится горожанами.
Мне нравится эта бронзовая скульптура городского рыбака с удочкой. Если смотреть издалека, он выглядит как часть людей на набережной.
The cat who loves fish has not been forgotten either. I have often observed how cats expect to catch fish near-real fishermen. This is a fairly typical picture. This cat is also a rogue.
We were not able to walk around the city itself. The sky was dark and sometimes it started to rain. In fact, I enjoyed the rain. Almost a month of our stay in these parts was accompanied by a scorching sun. For swimming in the river it is very good. The water warmed up to +27 and it was possible not to get out of it. But how long can you sit in the river ...
I wanted walks in the forest and picking mushrooms. But the forest is so dry that even fruit may not nalitsya juice. Sometimes in the evenings we went out into the woods for a walk. or to the bank of the river, the road along which goes through the forest. But all this is not quite what one wants to have from the forest. So I rejoiced in this rain and welcomed it. This could not be said about my companions. I understand them. We had to carry umbrellas with us.
But we still managed to walk a little.
This is how thick the sky was when we moved away from the Volga. The city center is not big and there is one pedestrian street Tryokhsvyatskaya. Previously, it was the central street of the city, which led to the station. Monument to V.I. Lenin. He pointed in the direction of the station
The monument still stands in its place. There was a time when the monuments to Lenin began to be demolished. It was the time of the collapse of the USSR. Dancing on the bones does nothing good for the living. Storia has a story. It is, of course, rewritten many times, but the people who do not remember the past will have no future.
On Trohsvyatskoy we went into a cafe and waited out the rain there. When we finished our meal, the sun was already shining. Even the stone pavement had time to dry out. And only a wet dove reminded of the tricks of the elements.
