School is off. Rest day from work. And you thought you will have an easy day. You know, lie down on the couch, have more sleep or watch Netflix for a change. But Nah ah ah! You must have forgotten that you're a Mum. Even if you wanted to, you just can't. There are loads to do, and who's gonna do it anyway, but you?
The kids are off school and having them 24/7 in the house is hard work. It's either they are messing around or always hungry and looking for food.
Yesterday, I made chops, mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes for dinner.
Today, I make them Shrimp Carbonara Extra Cheesy the way they like it. When the cheese melts, ah it's a heavenly taste. I used Campbell's Cream of Mushroom, you should try it.
Yesterday I start tidying up the front garden after my husband cut the hedges. I was about to do the lane when it started raining and that's what I have to do today.
But then again I have the kid's room and wardrobes to clean and sort out. I don't understand why I can't find a pair of socks. Like, where's the other pair, Tia? And the sweets wrapper and colours, even lipstick is hidden under her pillow. Under the bed looks like zombies have been hidden it's full of different stuff. Just to let you know Tia can mess up her room in a hurry. And telling her to clean is like negotiating with a Mafia Boss.
But today is an easy negotiation. After having some carbonara and filling her energy she said she is going to help me clean and fold her clothes. Wow! That's music to my ears. So I told her to take everything out of the drawers and we will sort it out.

And look at that very good child of mine, helping Mummy to sort out her clothes. She said she will give all her small clothes to the charity shop. And I'm very proud that she knows what the right thing to do. And even her toys she said.
I laugh coz she hasn't done much yet when she asks for a break. And while sorting clothes it's more on reminiscing and storytelling so I know that we are not going to do much today and it will end up me doing it. But still, nice try Tia!
Let me go out and check the lane. Will I be able to clean this up now? Might as well!
But before that, the carpet needs cleaning so that's what I've done first. The kids spilled milk and I haven't deep cleaned it for a long time so this is the moment.
And that's how I enjoy my weekends. Mind you I'm eating while writing this. Lol, I'm multitasking. Cheerio for now. I can't wait for my Resource Credit to charge up. I really should have Hive Power to perform different transactions here even to reply, coz it not letting me. I have to buy Hive to Power Up, that's the first thing to do.
