Hello, everyone! Here I am for another blog content. How did the first day of February appear to all of you? I hope it's giving you excitement to continue what you have started in the last month. Anyway, let's not put so much stress on that. I'm here to remind you that as long as your heart is happy with all you're doing, then it's all that truly counts. By the way, the blog that I am going to share to all of you is my recent happenings as an intern hopeful along with my classmates and the behind the scenes that took place as we look for company prospects. Should we get started?
The photos above summarizes my early morning juggle right from boarding a jeepney, arriving in the location and the waiting time for my other classmates to arrive.
For context, last January 29, 2024 we tried our luck to send our resume and application letter to one of our company prospects. So, we have to be very early to arrive in the company's office.
Truthfully, my classmates started arriving. All ready and prepared to face the HR. Some are camera shy but I don't get it why they had to—they are way too cute even with candid shots.
More of our waiting time moments. For context, we were waiting for our Instructor to arrive as he was the one who referred us to apply to this company. We needed his presence when we faced the HR in submitting our resume and application letter. A big thank you, to our ever kind Instructor for doing this.
Oh no, we're a bit worried because one of my classmates forgot to bring her brown envelope. So we looked for a nearby store to buy one. Luckily, she found a store that sells school supplies. Worried face to a happy disposition real quick.
And here it comes...
Our Instructor finally arrived. We did some huddling and he gave us some instructions before we decided to enter the office. We actually look a little nervous but at the end of the day it's all about doing that one thing even if you're nervous. So we did! We submitted our resume and application letter. Let me just say that the staff who accommodated us were so welcoming. I can already feel the positive energy when we went into their office. Is this the universe telling us that we are destined to have our internship in their company? Hopefully so. As per instruction, interviews will follow in a few days. So, we need to keep our lines open.
This was something we did not expect!
After we had our submissions, our Instructor treated all of us to a free lunch. We were a little bit shy at first considering that we were 6 and he had to pay for each of us. Yet, our dearest Instructor was so generous to a fault. Who are we to say no?
The lunch is served and All smiles from us!
Look at that mouth-watering food we had for lunch. Mind you, it's not too expensive but it's taste? It's no other. I also wanted to highlight that this has been one of the most special lunches I ever had. It's not just a plain lunch but it's full of healthy talks. Our Instructor did a lot of talking ranging from life advice, his experiences that we can learn from and a little banter that made us all giggle for a while. If I had to describe, our Instructor is the type of person you don't wanna get tired of talking with because he doesn't run out of topics to share. We would definitely consider ourselves lucky to have met him in our college journey.
All smiles as we capped off our day. We head home with a hopeful heart and a happy tummy.
Let me also drop these cutie photos of us. Signature poses as we await for the good news.
That's what I've got for today, my dear Hivers. Thank you for reaching the end of my blog. Until next time!
