One day.. I'll retire.. chill.. not even worry about money.. REALLY?! who am I kidding?? :P I don't see that ever happening, but it might be less of a focus for me.. we'll see..
I realized something.. All my life, especially here in hawaii, where real estate is so fricken high!.. I never even dreamed of owning my own house, or like a big piece of land. one would need at least $1 million usd to own just a modest house. (or at least a nice, fat mortgage loan that would take forever to pay off)
The same is NOT true of real estate in the Philippines. The above condo can be had starting at about $50k usd, for a studio unit.
The pro's of living in a condo are many, but most obvious is the LOCATION..
These things are always built in the midst of modern life.. that is, in an urban (as in NOT the boonies), which makes for a convenient lifestyle as well as the safety of proximity to things, such as malls, hospitals, etc.
Besides that, I also like having resources, and the biggest one in my head is the people resources.. someone around to always help me out, no matter what I need. Here's a list of the things offered at a this condo.. it's obvious that it was well though out ahead of time..
last thing I though of was that the size is on the small side, but really just the same as my room now (maybe even a tad bigger) and really.. what more do u need?
