Hoy salí a hacer unas diligencias personales y luego de ellas me di una cita conmigo y Mafalda. Les explico, en mi ciudad hay una exposición en La Galería de Arte, en Caracas, Venezuela; se llama "El Mundo según Mafalda". Desde hace unos días vi por las redes sociales la noticia y me había dicho que, en cuanto tuviera la oportunidad, me acercaría a verla y hoy fue el momento. Me desocupé relativamente temprano, tipo 10 de la mañana, y me dirigí a Bellas Artes, que es una localidad de mi ciudad donde está ubicado este lugar.
Llegué y conseguí una pequeña cola llena de personas de todas las edades que estaban entusiasmadas por ver también la exposición. La cola pasó rápidamente, la entrada es totalmente gratis, eso fue lo primero que noté. Ya adentro nos organizaron con unos tickets de colores, con los cuales nos ubicaban por edades, género y nos asignaban a un, guía con quien íbamos a realizar el recorrido por las diferentes salas donde exhibían todo tipo de cosas en referencia con Mafalda, desde sus amigos, padres, hasta la ambientación con las típicas frases y reflexiones de este icónico personaje.
Mientras íbamos viendo todo a nuestro alrededor, un joven guía nos iba explicando desde la historia de esta linda creación que es Mafalda, hasta las características de cada uno de sus personajes. Había muchos lugares ambientados para que las personas pudieran tomar sus fotos, allí fue donde me situé a tomar mis imágenes. Todo estaba muy lindo y agradable, aparte de que el personal en todo momento fue muy atento y muy bien organizado. Nuestro joven guía realizó varias actividades con el grupo, integrándonos a todos los presentes, sacándonos muchas sonrisas y aplausos.
Debo decir que todo se veía muy bien organizado, cuestión que me gusto mucho, porque quería sacarle fotografías a absolutamente todo, pues todo era muy vistoso y ambientado de la época de los años 60-70 que fue cuando su creador Quino, (Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón) le dio vida a esta niña llamada Mafalda a modo de hacer una protesta pacifica, pero a la vez certera acerca de los problemas del mundo, como las dictaduras, la contaminación y otros temas que se pudieran decir son más de adultos, pero manejados magistralmente a través de este tierno personaje, de una manera jocosa y hasta sarcástica, con el fin de dejar una reflexión al público.
Estando en este mundo de Mafalda, fue como si retrocediera unos cuantos años atrás, donde veíamos la TV a color por primera vez y donde se utilizaban los artefactos de aquellos años como el tocadiscos de aguja. Todo estaba muy bien iluminado, brindándole a las fotos un mejor enfoque y visión. Tenía tiempo que no pasaba un tiempo a solas, haciendo algo que me divertía y entretuviera; definitivamente fue la mejor decisión ir hasta esta exposición. Para quienes estén interesados, esta durará hasta el 16 de noviembre, siendo su fecha de inicio 16 de octubre, completando todo un mes para que grandes y chicos vayan a sumergirse en el maravilloso mundo de Mafalda. ¡Están invitados!, y este fue mi día hoy, amigos, saludos!

Today I went out to run some personal errands and after that I made an appointment with myself and Mafalda. Let me explain, in my city there is an exhibition at La Galería de Arte, in Caracas, Venezuela; it is called “El Mundo según Mafalda” (The World according to Mafalda). A few days ago I saw the news on social networks and I had told myself that, as soon as I had the opportunity, I would go to see it and today was the moment. I got off relatively early, about 10 am, and went to Bellas Artes, which is a locality of my city where this place is located.
I arrived and got a small queue full of people of all ages who were excited to see the exhibition as well. The line passed quickly, the entrance is totally free, that was the first thing I noticed. Once inside, we were organized with colored tickets, with which we were placed by age, gender and we were assigned to a guide with whom we were going to make the tour through the different rooms where they exhibited all kinds of things in reference to Mafalda, from her friends, parents, to the setting with the typical phrases and reflections of this iconic character.
While we were seeing everything around us, a young guide was explaining from the history of this beautiful creation that is Mafalda, to the characteristics of each of its characters. There were many places where people could take their pictures, and that is where I took my pictures. Everything was very nice and pleasant, besides the staff was very attentive and well organized at all times. Our young guide did several activities with the group, integrating all of us present, getting lots of smiles and applause.
I must say that everything looked very well organized, which I liked very much, because I wanted to take pictures of absolutely everything, as everything was very colorful and set in the era of the 60s and 70s, which was when its creator Quino, (Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón) gave life to this little girl called Mafalda as a way to make a peaceful protest, but at the same time accurate about the problems of the world, such as dictatorships, pollution and other issues that could be said to be more for adults, but masterfully handled through this tender character, in a humorous and even sarcastic way, in order to leave a reflection to the public.
Being in this world of Mafalda, it was as if I were going back a few years, where we saw color TV for the first time and where the artifacts of those years such as the needle record player were used. Everything was very well lit, giving the photos a better focus and vision. It had been a while since I had spent some time alone, doing something that amused and entertained me; it was definitely the best decision to go to this exhibit. For those who are interested, it will last until November 16, being its start date October 16, completing a whole month for young and old to go and immerse themselves in the wonderful world of Mafalda, you are invited, and this was my day today, friends, greetings!
