Hail to the Hive!

Every once in a while I’ll pass a vehicle and quietly nod to myself in acknowledgment of the creativity of the owner but today as Inpassed this beauty I stopped in my tracks.

The Camper Van was parked in the driveway of a house and the owner was valeting his other vehicle. I called out to him and asked if it was ok for me to be on his driveway and take a few pics as I am a huge comic hook fan and lover of old VW’s as well. He beamed a big grin and said go ahead. It’s always best to ask.

I loved it. A real homage to old Marvel comic books and a nice way to individualize the camper van. It stood out immediately and called to me.

I was a little disappointed to see there were no Silver Surfer Comics on there though which I personally think was a huge oversight but it still looks pretty damned cool

This is also another reason I love the Hive. It gives me a good reason to stop, engage and be creative rather than just walk on by and quietly notice something. Gives me a reason to celebrate what I have seen. And share it with all you hive peeps

I’d like to individualize Badger the Narrowboat also and this gives me pause for thought. What do you think? You like?
