Cards From My Personal Collection: Orlando Palmeiro 2002 Topps Baseball Card

Orlando Palmeiro played in the big leagues from 1995-2007. He played for the Angels, Cardinals and Astros. While his cousin Rafael is more famous than Orlando, Orlando did manage to get himself a World Series ring in 2002, an achievement his cousin never reached.

Orlando was an average utility player. As you can tell by the card he appeared in roughly 110 games a season. The most games he played in a season was 141 in 2003 as a Cardinal.

Palmeiro retired having played in 1,206 games. He had 640 hits and 12 homeruns with a .274 batting average.
