Another long 60k cycle yesterday back down to the coffee shop in Alegria. It's a lot better when you know exactly how far your going and how many hills are to go some how they don't seem as bad or quite as long. 
The ride was a bit quicker than last week but longer in the Cafe de Metoli as we had a friend join us who has family close by, so lots of good coffee and a long chat. The only thing that's better than coffee in the morning is coffee with friends.
It must have been a good a good day for cycling as we did see a lot more people out with quite a few on race bikes, these guys and girls really fly by so there's no point in trying to keep up no matter how nice the lycra clad arse was and you still have a long way to go. .
Just a short distance from the coffee stop is an old fishing boat, it's sailing days are will gone but it does make for an interesting phot. Very different from the usual smaller boats you have now
Just one quick cool down stop on the way back on top of the long hill going into Badian. A cold Coke from the local resto to add a bit of fuel with sugar and caffeine to help with the last 10K. It really was starting to get hot now, the only down side of the long coffee stop was cycling back at midday with the sun at it's hottest and cycling in about 34deg can be a bit of a struggle, still the worst of the hills are behind us and it's the homeward stretch.
