Noel Gallagher vs. Sam Smith

"He's a complete idiot"
The ex-Oasis returned to be in the news for his offending statements.

Gallagher has just released "Easy Now" with his band the High Flying Birds. The song will be part of his new album that will be released on June 2 and will have 11 tracks in total. In addition, it was published together with an official video clip starring Gallagher himself along with the revelation star Milly Alcock, who played Rhaenyra Targaryen in the HBO series House of the Dragon.

Noel Gallagher was back in the news for a new controversy. When it seemed that the 55-year-old musician had finally decided to get away from conflicts and offending statements, he went back to being the same Noel as always. This time, the ex-Oasis took some time to insult Sam Smith, implying that he finds him a "complete idiot".

Gallagher's words were given in a recent interview with Dutch radio station Kink, where he talked about his present with the High Flying Birds. There, the musician was asked what impressions he had on current pop, to which he replied: "Music has been fractured, and the charts are dominated by pop. Pop music is fine if the pop stars are fine. Unfortunately, Today's artists are complete idiots."

When asked to give an example of one of these artists, Noel was blunt and didn't hesitate to answer, "Sam Smith." When trying to investigate the reason for his statement, the guitarist limited himself to saying: "Look at him!". These anti-Smith remarks come just after Morrissey called him "satanic" after his Grammy Awards performance with Kim Petras.
