MORNING BIRDS

Good morning everyone. Resuming my morning walks since this year's pink race is approaching and I need to prepare myself, I have gone out very early while everyone is sleeping, or just getting up. That very private and silent moment of the road that I travel within the area where I live, is like the accomplice to be able to carefully observe the fauna that surrounds me.

Today the contact between fauna and flora, invited me to photograph the diverse reactions of the birds that inhabit this area adjacent to the fields. In the middle of the plains there is an immense variety of tropical birds, but some dare to come to the village to live a little with the urban customs.

They will always find something to eat anywhere, and they perch on a roof or on the electrical wires, waiting for the right moment to come down and enjoy the feast they have been stalking for a while.

A white pigeon waits patiently, then two more join in, and they carefully descend to eat.

After a while a paraulata llanera joins them to review what they left behind, and from the cables two other little ones follow, watching the breakfast so pleasant, but without the security of going down to share.

A little further on, I find a bird watching its nest in the top of a tree, where it must surely have its chicks, but perhaps it hesitates between going out to look for food and leaving them alone, or staying on the cable, guarding them from close by.

The beauty of the walk is to admire their gestures and behavior, and even more, to see that little by little they are gaining confidence and do not flee despite feeling my proximity.

Two barn owls appeared on the stage, but they did not let me photograph them. Before I tried, they took flight and fled far away.

Every morning I will continue my journey capturing the various manifestations of wildlife.
