Last week, while camping, we visited several small towns in the area, one of them was Cadaqués, a small sea village where Dali built his summer house in Port Lligat.
Although the village has grown, its location in the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, with its mountains, has created a natural barrier that has been able to avoid huge growth and tall buildings.
Its small white houses with the church in the middle, the boats in front of the beach create beautiful scenery quite similar to the cities in the Balearic islands.
And there is a colonial building called The Blue House built in 1545, right in the middle of town facing the sea. Now on sale for 22M€.
Here's a statue of the painter in the middle of the beach promenade as a tribute from the city.
And here's his museum summer house located in a smaller close by the beach of Port Lligat.

Here's a panoramic view of the whole village.
