Today has brought us yet another exciting day in Ghana. Over the course of many weeks, the hive ecosystem began the construction of a borehole to assist villages in need of water. It was discovered that several communities in Ghana are experiencing problems with their water systems, making life unpleasant. Some Ghanaian communities struggle to get safe drinking water.
In this respect, the hive ecosystem explored providing potable drinking water to Ghanaian communities with the funding and assistance of @valueplan, managed by @mcsamm and @collinz. Today, we celebrate the commissioning of the third hive borehole project built by the hive ecosystem to all hivers and the rest of the world. The day was more than successful in terms of thoroughly experiencing the event.
In a nutshell, the launch was slated for today at 9 a.m. This was due to a prearranged meeting with the Chief of Anwomaso and his subjects. We (@mcsamm and @collinz) assisted in providing an overview of how the ceremony would go. They eagerly accepted it in order to ensure their presence and complete support. The whole town couldn't wait any longer for the borehole to be formally opened since they were going to have so much fun.

The chief came with his elders at 11 a.m. today to bless the long-awaited event. Members of the Anwomaso community were already anticipating the start of the event. Nana Abusuapanin, one of the sub chiefs, began the event by leading us in prayer. This enabled him to address everyone and all attendees during the event. Everyone applauded as they saw something come to life for the first time.
The goal of our meeting was presented as inviting us to give the whole community a brief overview of hive. Let me offer my heartfelt appreciation to my brother @collinz, who led the event with a beautiful presentation. He gave a quick presentation to the chief and the members present about the hive ecosystem and how it is ready to empower the Anwomaso villages and their surroundings.
Anwomaso chief cut ribbons to launch hive borehole
Following that, the chief was asked to say a few words and begin cutting ribbons to formally inaugurate the borehole supplied by the hive ecosystem. I was happy to see other hivers in Ghana, such as @awuahbenjamin and @ellizbeth, coming up to support the inauguration today. The photographs below depict different stages of the inauguration procedure.
We write with the above pictures to notify all members of the hive ecosystem that the borehole, which began last week, has been formally and successfully launched today with a spectacular experience. The whole neighborhood was filled with excitement and enthusiasm for such a wonderful occasion.
In the next days, updates on the whole event will be posted to convey with everyone the incredible delight hive has brought to the Anwomaso community with the provision of this borehole to serve this community with potable drinking water. With this, I would want to show my gratitude for this accomplishment. It is, in fact, one of the best.
