Sup mah dudes! It’s me Kenneth, your boy. Two days ago, my sister @jmauring told me to join in Hive community. She has been telling me to join last year but there are just some issues and setbacks going on and it took me a while to be officially part of this community. At first, I honestly don’t have any idea about what it is. She didn’t tell me much about the cryptocurrency per se but she told me that this can be a platform to share varied contents. I am very much curious and excited specially for the latter because I do play video games specifically Valorant and according to her there is a community named @HiveGaming where in I can share my gameplay. To mark my first post, I think it would be better to introduce myself to the community. Lezgo!
I am Kenneth, that’s my real name and I also prefer to be called that way. I don’t usually go by nicknames because I don’t really have one (?). My close friends and relatives just pronounce my name differently like /ki-nit/ or exclude the first syllable and be called /nit/ or sometimes they tend to add something at the end like /ki-nit-an/ which is a Cebuano term that means “have found”.
I live in Cebu, Philippines. I am staying in Mandaue City. Yeah, I am a city boy ever since but I still love rural and provinces. It always excites me when my mother brings me to her hometown because its serene, calm and different compare to the city. It’s nice to see lush and green coated mountains, clear beaches and farm animals.
I am still a high school student; 10th grade to be exact so I am still very young. During my past time, I do love listening to Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and foreign music. Sometimes, I watch movies and lately I am into romance and action- packed movies so drop some recommendation below and I will definitely add it in my list.
I also love dogs that’s why we once owned a dog but sadly he died last November. Recently, our family somehow adopted a stray cat and named him Shiro. He is super cool because he got different eye colors my sister @jmauring told me it is a genetic mutation called Heterochromia (what a nerd, just kidding). He just became a parent of 4 cute kittens, they are so weird specially when running but it looks more like they are hopping.
I also play video games like DOTA2, World of War Craft, Minecraft and Valorant but last year and until today I am more into Valorant. It is a great and fun especially when you are playing it with your friends. We usually stay in a computer shop most of the time depending on our wallet. There was even a time when we played 12 hours non-stop while having our lunch. I know this might sound unhealthy but it only happens rarely so I guess its fine. I am working on my Gold 3 account and it would be also amazing to play with other Hivers in the future. However, my concern with this is that the internet connection here in the Philippines seems to be slow so it might not or hardly work depending on your server.
I am here to bicker and annoy my big sister, just kidding. Joining in Hive, gives me an opportunity in meeting new people, share my content, learning and discovering another Hiver’s content too. I also wanted to improve my writing skills in English because I am really not good at it and I believe that blogging could help me. I would also apologize if ever there are grammatical errors for this post and in the future. Nevertheless, I think Hive in general will mold, shape and strengthen what I have and about to have.
As I mentioned, I am into video games so I will probably focus into that one but I am also not closing my doors to another niche like travelling, movies, anime experiences and more. If you are curious to my gameplay, you can also visit my Facebook page- I’m Not A Satchel Raze to check some of it. For foreign peeps, you’ll definitely can’t understand the language and I haven’t added English caption yet so just disregard the noises from me and my team mates. Definitely, looking forward to more content and growth here so stay tune.
It’s nice to be finally part of this community and nice meeting you all mah dudes! See you next time.
Shout out to my sister for offering a helping hand in creating my first post and editing most of the graphics and photos included in this blog.
