Good day everyone, it's with great pleasure that I write this post today. I was invited to hive by a friend of mine who although no longer blogs here, highly recommended hive to me. I used to work as a freelance writer until it no longer paid like it used to and that was when my friend @nazzyvic told me about Hive. She's now a full time crypto trader and I hope I get to the same level as her in crypto real soon as I'm still a noob in it.
Well let's get down to me introducing myself, shall we?
My name is Canice, I'm a Nigerian in my late twenties. I'm the second son among five siblings (four boys and a girl) I have just recently graduated from the University as a Electrical Electronics Engineer. I'm currently unemployed, waiting to go serve my country as a National Youth Corp member which is kind of compulsory for every Nigerian graduate before entering the labour market unless you already have the connection to get a good job then you don't really need it.
I'm a writer who can write about anything at anytime but most times I prefer to write about myself and things happening around me as I find it much more enjoyable to do and we all know that when we enjoy what we do, we become the best in it.
I've also been told by my friend that I will have to include pictures of myself so I had to go dig up this one from my gallery because I really don't take much pictures, I can be very camera shy and tend to take less pictures. I guess I prefer being the dude behind the camera than in front of it.
I know a lot of you might be wondering why the title of my introductory post says "I almost gave up" well like I stated up there, my freelance job was starting to look like hell for me and I knew that if I didn't get a new gig soon, I would soon be in the trenches with the other broke guys and that was a no no for me. I almost gave up and had been playfully lamenting to my friend nazzyvic when she told me about this platform. It's funny how she has known about it for more than a year now and didn't say anything about it to me but one look at her blog and I understood why she had been so reluctant to tell anyone about Hive.
Anyway, I've always had that fighting spirit and I'm more than ready to bring it along with me here. I'm ready to give this platform all I've got and seeing how I'm a firm believer that hardwork pays, I'm sure my stay here is going to become a success story.
Right now I'm just still trying to understand how everything works and by the time I'm done, I will be ready to always put out good interesting write ups for you lots to read out here.
My name is Canice and my Hive's username is @canice01 and this is my introductory post.
