This an entry to ODC's Hive Business Card Design Contest
I don't make Business Cards, and I'm not sure I know how. When I saw this contest, I dismissed it. Then I saw some of the entries and I remembered Canva had a lot of templates I could use. I'm bad at marketing, but I had a marketing advisor in ChatGPT, so I thought: "I could do this!"
It went... reasonably well...
Process
To gain some ideas, I saw some of the other entries to the contest, and searched Canva for "business card qr code" to see some examples. I even asked ChatGPT for ideas for the slogan.
Browsing Canva, I choose this template. to start with. It's completely different from the image I had in mind, but it had the perfect QR Code size that I could start with and an explanation of how to use the QR Code.
I made multiple changes to the template, over multiple days until I got satisfied with something. Here are some screenshots from my time with it.

I think the result was good, I really liked the "Byeond the Connection Revlution" line that I came up with after a lot of thinking, but it was too long, and thinking about what Hive is about I settled with: "Own Your Data."
Where's the BACK?
Well, I spent a while on the front but didn't like any backside attempts I made in the past 5 days.
As the final day of the contest came closer, I was thinking of backing down from this contest but decided to only publish the front side because I like it, and maybe someone can benefit from it.
So, here you go. I hope to take part better in the next contest, but I felt I need to post something this time. Now, that I'm finishing writing this post, I got ideas for the Backside of the card...
