Sketchbook 013 - A few faces, One image

Hi Hive!

Seems like the heat wave that's settled in this part of the country isn't planning on easing up anytime soon. This, in addition to not having any running water in the house for over a week now (probably also due to the heat) has left me with even less motivation to do anything except for hiding in my nice little home office, with the aircon going on full blast.

Seeing as my brain goes pretty foggy when it is this hot, pretty much all I can do is spend more time drawing...not that I'll ever complain about that...

This was just a quick drawing i did without much planning. Sometimes it is nice to just let them happen and see what you end up with.

I am actually quite far behind on posting my drawings to Hive, this one is actually a little bit older...maybe a week or two (I'll need to check my lazy social thing for a more accurate date)

It should be pretty obvious but, the more I draw (especially faces) the easier and better they become, so I guess even though I keep doubting myself and having post-post panic and paranoia moments (how's that for a tongue twister? haha) practice does pay off!

Clearly, this face is far from perfect, but even this is a slight improvement over what I used to be able to do, so....yay. :)
I didn't use any drawing references for this one, though it did end up looking like an amalgamation of a few people I know/knew, so that's pretty weird.

Anyways, that's it for today. Hopefully soon I will be able to catch up!

Till next time!
