today is bright and shine and also a sunny Tuesday and I will like to share with you the preparation of my chilled kunu here.
As today is Tuesday just wish to make a chilled natural drinks for myself and the family so I decided to share with you the process of making my natural chilled drink which is called kunu.
This drink kunu is popularly consumed by Northerners and is easy for them to make always because its their cultural drink.
The ingredients needed to prepared this kunu are as follows:
*millet
*cloves
*Ginger
*powdered suger or cube suger
*Sieve
*clean Water
*clean bowl
*Kanafuru
So with all this ingredients you are ready to prepare kunu.
Firstly you soak your millet into a bowl for at least two days,after it been soaked you then washed the millet properly until it sparkling clean without any stone underneath it,after when your millet is been washed then you wash your ginger,cloves,kanafuru very well too then pour it into the already washed millet then you take it to the grinding machine to ground it smoothly, after it been grounded you then drop it on the floor and bring out your clean sieve, and you sieved it until it smooth then you allowed it settle after some hours you then put a cup of water on the pot on fire then allowed it boiled after it has boiled.
You divide the millet into two portions then you fetch a little portion from the grounded millet and stir it together until it a bit thicker after that you bring it down and pour it inside the remaining portion inside the bowl and stir it together until it mixed up,after this you then add a cup of suger or better still depending on how you can consumed sugar,add sugar according to your taste then refrigerate it.
Some people may even add liquid milk into it so that it will be more richer and of advantages to the body system and served chilled that my own way of preparing kunu.
