Today I am gonna share the highlight of my first win 🏆 at Auric Gold league. This is the best league I can reach with my scholar 🎓 deck at the moment because I found the enemies in that league is super strong 💪 (compared to my deck). I think I need to start purchasing 💸 some cards using scholar payment every week to strengthen my Gods Unchained NFT collection in order to climb higher 📈. If there's any rental market that would be much better :). Playing at Mythic regularly is always being my dream in Gods Unchained and with the determination and consistency, I do believe that I can make it true. Alright guys, here are some topics that we are going to discuss in this article :

Well, let's jump to the first topic :
This is the current deck I used in most of the battles. I have very bad win rate since I lost too many battles at Auric Gold ha ha 🤣. Most of the cards are belong to low mana. As we can see in the above picture, there are 8 cards which have 3 mana (Celestial Stag, Dagan, the Dawn Wolf, Lightning Strike, and Moonlight Charm), 7 cards belong to 2 mana cards (Cannopy Barrage, Finnian Fruitbearer, and Underbrush Boar), and 5 cards belong to 4 mana cards (Bladefly, Wildfire and Feral Shapeshifter). The reason why I chose cards in low mana is to make us easier to use several cards in a turn and make some combo between creatures 🐉 and spell cards 🔮. If the card's mana are very high, we might use 1 or 2 cards only (per turn). Little changes that I made is to replace "Ogre Archer" with "The Hunt".
I used to love using Ogre Archer 🎯 because of his special ability to give 3 damage to the enemy creature but when I see the spell card called : "The Hunt" which has 6 mana and his special ability is giving 8 damage 🔥 randomly split among enemy creatures, I fell in love with the card and replace Ogre Archer with The Hunt. I think it's a very good card to destroy the enemy monsters when we are under attack 🗡. After the enemy cards are destroyed there's a chance to take control the battlefield and counter the opponent 👊.
1 - 3 mana
When the battle give 1 mana, the opponent skipped his turn so it allows me to attack ⚔️ him in the next turn (2 mana) since I put Marsh Walker 🌳 in the previous round. In 3 mana battle, I used the God power, Selena's Mark to reduce the enemy creature into 1 and sacrifice Marsh Walker to destroy Vrock.
4 - 5 mana
I summoned Bladefly 🦋 to take control the battlefield so that I can keep attacking the opponent and reduce his god health point to 0. The special ability of Bladefly is to summon 2 other copies of himself in the battlefield, so we have 3 copies once he is summoned. The opponnet activated Sulphuric Rain and gave burn 🔥 +2 to all of my creatures. I protected all of my creatures from the burn by using Trial of The Hydra 🐉. This spell card is giving regen +2 and 2/2 (Strength +2 and Health +2) since I have 2 kind of monsters in the battlefield. This way, the burn effect can be ignored by regen ♥️ ability.
5.5 - 6 mana
In this round I used Trial of The Hydra 🐉 for the second time to make my creature stronger. Unfortunately all of my monsters are getting sleep 😴 due to the opponent's spell card. so in 5.5 mana I can strengthen my cards only. No attack given to the enemy. The opponent special ability is to make both players draw card so no wonder wo have so many cards 💳 in our hand. The opponnet used burn +2 spell cards to my creature for the second time so all of my monsters get burn 🔥 +4. It makes all of my Bladefly died so I put new monsters to keep dominating the battle ⚔️.
6.5 - 7 mana
I added 1 mana monster who can special summon a monster with frontline 🏛 ability as the reinforcement to my team in the battlefield. At the last round the opponent activated Bitter Endings. Here is the card :
The card says :
If your god has 15 health or less, add a 6 or 7 mana legendary death creature to your hand and set its cost to 0. If you do, at the end of your next turn take 15 damage
I think this card will be best to use if our opponent god's health is below 10-15 as we can special summon legendary 👑 monster and kill the god directly but if we are unable to kill him / her then we are going to lose the battle. in the last round, my opponent has successfully summon 3 legendary death creatures (2x Anhotep the Embalmer, and a Serris, Arbiter of the Trial) thanks to friendly mimic who can add a copy of a friendly monsters to hand and since Bitter Endings can reduce the mana cost of legendary death 💀 creature to 0 then my opponent can summon as many monsters as he can in the battlefield. However, my opponent killed my god and he decided to surrender 😮.
Alright, I think what we can learn from this battle is to keep our secret weapon ⚔️ in the last several round of the battle and we have to try our best to win the battle once we do the ultimate attack with that secret weapon. In the other words, we have to be ready when our opponent used his / her massive attack when the battle gives high mana. I think some spell cards like "The Hunt" and "Lightning Strike" which can give massive damage is really needed to destroy 🔥 monster with high mana. We should also build strong 💪 creature in the battle field in order to beat the opponent creature which I do believe will have high strength and health as well.
