Hello everyone! Praying and hoping that life goes well by our God's grace and mercy. I am here again to share some moments in my work life. Hope that you will support me again.

Despite how hectic our schedules at school since the resumption of classes were just a few days ago. But we can't let our celebration in honor of our dear Senior Santo Niño every year put aside.

By the way, it was supposed to happen last Friday of January 2024 but due to a conflict in the schedule, it was moved to February 2, 2024. And this is what happened.

First, we had our novena led by our Grade 1 teacher then Mass was followed and attended by all the learners and school personnel.

During the mass, some learners in the Secondary Department stay outside the covered court. But as a School Principal, this is my obligation to teach them how to be courteous and honor our mass. I stay at the back of the Secondary Learners for them to be restricted from roaming around.

Then, a luscious lunch after the mass by our Kindergarten Teacher Maam Jocelyn Alberca, Grade 1 Teacher Maam Recelma Layague, and the secondary teachers led by Maam Jennylyn Molejon.

We are so very thankful to all the birthday celebrants for January and February 2024 since they shared food for the celebration as their Thanksgiving.

After lunch, the presentation of the Sinulog Dance was offered to Senior Santo Niño. I was amazed at all the performances shown led by all the teaching staff including myself, followed by different groups of learners. Starting from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

I was so happy to witness their performances on how they give life and meaning to all their moves and choreography. Especially when the Festival Queens showed their different worship moves. It made me teary-eyed.

By the way, though I was dancing to the tune of Sinulog beat even with a single step I never had the chance to practice together with them.

Why? It is not that I don't need to but I don't have the time due to my very busy schedule. Suppose to be I will not be there because I have other commitments but I don't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate the School Feast.

This is my second year here at Ilihan Integrated School. I am so thankful for the gift of a station that makes me closer to my home and my family.

I was also grateful to my superior and colleagues for allowing me not to attend the second day of the seminar-workshop just to be in my station.

These are my Kindergarten Teachers with their Kindergarten Pupils. They are so cute following the moves of their teachers. My salute to all kindergarten teachers for it is not easy to handle the little one. The patience and the love they showed to their pupils are very commendable.

I know we have different ways of worshipping our God but the very important thing is we believe that God exists.

As a Roman Catholic and as a Cebuano we should devote Senior Santo Niño for He first visited Cebu. This is not a mandate but as we mold the young minds of Roman Catholic children they should understand the reason behind it.

What they did was not for graded purposes only but spiritually. We need to inculcate in the young minds that they should emulate the good character of our young Jesus Christ.

After which the celebration continued, there was a videoke brought by one of the birthday celebrants. As I observed the presence of the feast is real.

They enjoyed a lot through singing, dancing, and eating. This happened after office hours. I left first because my husband arrived to fetch me.

I am happy that the whole day's activity was done successfully. The collaboration of all the learners and teachers played a big role in making everything possible ☺️😇🥰.

Though we have teachers and learners who are not Roman Catholic they respect us as we respect them too.

One of them joined us on stage as we witnessed the performances. He showed his full support for his Roman Catholic students.

Thank you everyone for reading from the beginning until the end. I am not a good writer and this platform will help me to be good someday ☺️💪🫰.
