How I escaped fire accident.

Hmmmm! Life is so precious! It's always a good thing to be among the living.

It was on Thursday 09-03-2023 at about 9am Nigeria time. I went out to get some few things done within my locality driving out my Honda Accord car. On my way out, I felt the smell of fuel (pms) I humbly parked the car and check out to know what was wrong but couldn't figure it out. So I proceeded a bit with my driving.

After about 20 minutes drive, I noticed that the fuel gauge was dropping down rapidly indicating that my fuel level was going down in an unusual manner. Upon this notice, I decided to go off the road in order to find out what was wrong with the car. Coming out, in less than 3 minutes I had an explosion from the frontage of the car! Bang! Then fire as if under an attack.

I quickly brought out my fire extinguisher but wasn't enough in bringing the raging fire under full control. Then I was confused and stranded at the same time.

But in just a moment, due to the level of flame and smoke, the attention of other road users where attracted to the scene and that was how the situation was successfully brought into total control through the use of more fire extinguisher.

Hmmmm! I know some of my readers will be wondering why I didn't mention anything like calling "emergency numbers...." It's very unfortunate that Nigeria my beautiful country is yet to get to the level where emergency numbers will be effective as seen in other countries. But I am optimistic that one day NIGERIA WILL BE GREAT!

My joy from this experience is that I was not still in motion when the fire explored! Glory to God!

Thank God I was not still driving as at the point of the fire explosion!

I can only imagine what would have happened if I was still in motion as the time of the fire explosion!

THANK GOD I ESCAPED!
