Last Sunday, taking advantage of my husband's visit, whom my children had not been able to hug for more than four years, we planned this first family outing. We decided to go for a walk to a beautiful and emblematic place called Tigre. This is one of the 135 districts that make up the Province of Buenos Aires. It is located in the northern area, and covers a large part of the Paraná River Delta and its low-lying islands
Its boundaries are: North with the Paraná de las Palmas River, East with the Río de la Plata, Southeast with the districts of San Fernando, San Isidro and San Martín, Southwest with the districts of San Miguel and Malvinas Argentinas and Northeast with the district of Escobar. In addition, there are multiple clubs and other sports areas. Additionally, there are restaurants that offer a great gastronomic variety.
I will start by describing the transportation we used from the city of Avellaneda. First we took a bus from route 154 that dropped us off at Constitución station, there we went down to the subway and connected to get to Juramento station, then we walked three blocks until we got to the train station which is called Belgrano. By the way, it is located in the famous Chinatown. We decided to look for a place to eat before continuing the train ride. We entered a restaurant where they sell delicious ramen. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The first time we went in we were delighted with the dishes they prepare.
We continued our walk through the forest until we got on the train station direct to Tigre, that link was made because there are some stations that are in recovery, and we had to make that journey if it had not been for that, we would have done it We would have arrived earlier and the trip was direct. But still the trip was great and we arrived in good weather. Anyway, the transportation was perfect.
When we left the station I looked around in amazement and noticed, with joy, that it was a place with a beach atmosphere, a very cool and harmonious promenade, and there were many people. Something that pleased me and caught my attention was a Haptic map, located next to the exit of the station. This type of map is for visually impaired people. You can see it in the following image.
A very nice experience in this picture you can see the pier, the boats, the spaces for walking, the emblematic welcome sign to the area. We were also able to visit many stores, locals and fast food places, to buy jewelry, souvenirs, stones and chains, educational toys, etc. By the way, I bought a small bag to carry my things comfortably.
Among the tourist attractions, there is a large casino in the same sector, there is a huge water park. Well, this beautiful place is visited a lot, for the summer vacation season people come here to enjoy the air of the river and to take a boat ride, it is also interesting because it is the port that connects Argentina with Uruguay. Here is the port terminal for passengers going to Uruguay, of course it is a terminal where you have to present your passport and touch the legality to pass to the other country, from there to Uruguay in about two hours by boat. I hope someday to be able to pass to the other side and enjoy that ride too.
The Puerto de Frutos, is purely touristy, there are places with a variety of fast food, soft drinks, craft beer which is something that abounds here, they sell handicrafts made of wood, ceramic objects. There is a serpentarium that I would have liked to go in to see, but it was very hot and it is a very closed place. The snakes have to have a specific environment. When I went in to ask for information at the office, I felt so hot that I preferred not to go in and as we are in the middle of summer, 34°-36° temperature, I think it is not advisable. It is a next visit I will make. Seeing snakes fascinates me
We also drank a few juices because it is important to drink a lot of liquids to stay hydrated. We lay down on the grass, we spent some time lying on the grass, frolicking, relaxing and relaxing, we visited the area of the park, we visited the back part, where the docks are, which by the way, because of that we observed a few dead fish, I think it is because of the movement of boats, which keeps the waters of the Paraná, polluted. The strange thing is that there were fish that jumped when people threw seeds and bread at them. The visit was great, we walked around, ate some conitos or ice cream, bought souvenirs, did many things, we spent the day very divine. As the afternoon was falling, we headed back home, happy and satisfied for having spent a spectacular Sunday. The return trip was identical, we returned the same way we arrived.
