A Family Fun Weekend: Creating Memories that Last a Lifetime

Whether it be a vacation, a trip or any weekend experience, my family rarely goes out on one. That’s why as a person who craves one, I would be thrilled whenever we got a chance to do one.

A recap when my mother had a teachers’ weekend party with her colleagues, they had chosen to go to Bougainvillea, a beach park located in Daanbantayan, Cebu. When she announced it to us and asked who would like to go with her, I immediately insisted on going with them along with my father and younger sister (her colleagues would also bring their family, so it wouldn’t be weird).

The day was nearly perfect—bonding with family never seemed like a bad day to me, if it weren’t for my brother who insisted on staying at home, so we weren’t complete.

The place was vast, it was my first impression as we entered the gate. You’d have to walk for a while or they have a golf cart for that, to reach the reception area.

One thing I adore about the place is its abundance of plants and trees everywhere. The greenery of the area added a more welcoming ambiance to its customers and visitors.

The pool was absolutely pretty. A park combined with a pool. This is perfect for kids. Although, I didn’t bathe in the pool since I wasn’t planning to. So, I just watched my sister enjoy the pool and tour around the massive area whenever I got the chance to.

When lunchtime came, we had our meals together by the shore. They have numerous kalesa tables set in the beach sands. The spot was perfect– with the fresh air, the view, and of course because I was with my family. But of course, any spot would be absolutely perfect as long as you’re with your loved ones.

After having lunch, we took a leisurely walk around the area and took some pictures of the pretty things we find attractive.

When I saw this parked broken jetski which they now added as a design and a thing to take pictures in, I immediately hopped on. It has always been my dream to ride a jet ski.

It’s adorable to see my mother and father posing for photos. I am forever thankful to my parents who guided and gave us security throughout our lives, just like how this gazebo garden is secured by the two lions on its side.

Although we weren’t complete on this day, I still had so much fun spending this day in this beautiful land of life with the ones I love. We headed back home full with joyous memories that are meant to be cherished forever.

I appreciate it a lot for lending me your time to read my blog. Toodles, everyone!
