Week 229 - Situations that leave us unsatisfied...how to handle it to solve it?

Hello friends of the community ❤️ I wish a happy weekend to all who read and visit me on this occasion.

Describe a situation in which you were dissatisfied with your own performance: what happened and why, how did you handle it and what was the result?

Throughout our lives, it is difficult not to see ourselves in a situation where at first we are so inspired and focused, confident that the result will be as expected, but it turns out that in the end something unexpected happens and we are not satisfied with the work but on the contrary... dissatisfied. But when these moments happen, what is the best thing to do?

In my case I remember once a very similar situation happened to me, where I had an order of shirts to paint a custom print, the whole process was going well, in fact when I finished I was very happy and satisfied, but, when washing and ironing I realize that the paint I used was not a good brand and part of the paint ran on the fabric, I remember that was a very uncomfortable and annoying moment when I realized that what I thought was good in the end was all wrong, when that happens all the desire is lost.

Another similar situation happened to me while I was sewing a sweater that I wanted to give as a gift, I was not yet very expert at it but I felt very excited to finish it and see it well finished, but, in the process I had several jams where I had to unpick a lot, and as I made mistakes my frustration and despair grew to the point of not wanting to finish my project. In those moments my best advice and what I usually apply to myself is to take a break, maybe in that moment we are bad and there is something in our environment that makes us fail, taking a break and a little rest, has helped me to come back in a better mood and mood to finish or start something again, because if it is something I like to do and I think I can do it well, surely with this I will do it better and so I will be satisfied with my performance.

I hope you liked this little story in my participation in the round number #229, if you want you can share your story too. See you in a next time, happy new year and happy weekend!!!💕.
