Real Venezuelan Money - 1 Bolivar (1965)

Today we continue our saga in silver coins from Venezuela, with the last piece from my collection. I plan to order more pieces in the future but for now that is it!

Here are my two recent posts in case you missed em:

Today's piece is a 1 Bolívar from 1965, and as your are about to see it looks exactly the same as the 2 bolivars I have already shown you, so there isn't much more to add. Essentially, the only difference is the size of the coin and the value, date, weight, and fineness written on the back side!

So, let's see it:

And a comparison with the other two venezuelan coins I recently showcased:

As you can see all three coins look pretty much the same, with Mr. Simón Bolívar on the front and the Venezuelan coat of arms in the back.

Much originality, very wow 😲!

When it comes to silver, the 1 Bolivar has 5 grams of 0.835 purity, which translates to 4.175 grams of silver. With today's silver spot price that's about 2.5 $ worth of silver. Not great not terrible !

So, all my three Venezuelan coins are worth about 12.5 $. As @enforcer48 commented a couple days ago, I probably have way more sound Venezuelan money than the average peep from that country 😆😄😂

In other news, I ordered today 10 oz of silver from @goldrooster, in 10 individual pieces. A fine addition for the stack that I can't wait to receive 🙌🤑🥰
