Hello (Crypto)World,
and thank you for having me in here. I've stumbled upon Hive on X, formerly known as twitter, where there is and has been a lot of activity under the #web3 tag. I found it a little sceptical at the start, due to the many accounts that are using it, as on X the bot activity is very high nowadays.
After reading a little about the ecosystem, I find it interesting and decided to sign up for an account, which I did on the 1st of November and managed today to take some time to introduce myself.
And now to the introduction, I'm a male (no need for pronouns), started my 40's this year and have a small and lovely family, with my wife (this was Notre Dame before the fire)...
...and a son that loves the sea. Actually, we all love the sea and every time we got the chance we go to it.
We love travel, therefore the avatar name, and besides travel I'm interested into a lot of things, one being crypto. We are living in Germany, which is very conservative in terms of crypto, so I'm glad that I can discuss with you in here. In Germany, we live in the South, which gives us a lot of opportunities of travel, especially to Austria, Czech Republic and one of my favourite countries, Italy. The image below is from the United Arab Emirates, where we did a trip a couple of years ago.
I did not share my face, and probably will never do it, as I love privacy. We are very discrete in terms of our life, but somehow, I like the idea to ramble in here. It is like writing a book, that is online and keep my life as it is. With crypto, I started in 2014, with BTC and added LTC and ETH after. Had survived the swings and managed to take some profit in 2019, where I invested into different asset classes, as safety.
Now, I'm consolidating the portfolio, and will try to raise to a sum, where my son can leave a free life and how he wants to. Not as a spoiled brat, but as a human being that is free, without worrying about financial reasons.
Another point of interest, would be sports. I played sports since I was little, and now I'm doing mostly fitness, hitting the gym a couple of times in the week and some combat sparring, if time allows.
One expensive hobby that I have, is old cars. I love them, I love the growling noise of petrol cars, even if I drive an Audi E-Tron for work. The car below was a failed buy, as we could not hit an agreement with the owner. My dream car would be a BMW E9, black with cooper gold BBS-rims.
