This is an update on Artvatars, the collab NFT that will drop today. In fact, it will drop in 8 hours and as always with these highly anticipated NFT drops, you want to be there the moment the drop goes live.
Prices are as follows:
1-5,000: 0.2 ETH
5,001-10,000: 0.4 ETH
10,001-15,000: 0.6 ETH
15,001-20,000: 0.8 ETH
In my opinion these prices are not on the expensive side. You have to consider that all Artvatars are single editions, made by 65 of the world's best crypto artists. Also, this project is skipping the gas costs of eth, because they are using the Matic network. Compared to other projects as well as current prices in the Crypto Art market, this seems like a fair price, especially if you get one of the first 5000.
Important
Artvatars launches on Ethereum Layer 2 Polygon (Matic), which means there are no gas costs for transactions. However, it also means that Ethereum must be transferred to the Polygon (Matic) blockchain before buying. Please note: Without this transfer, no Artvatar can be purchased. You need a Metamask wallet (No Ledger or other hardware wallets).
Transfering funds to Matic is possible on the website, but the Brave browser is not working, use safari or another one.

Please note that you must do this in advance, a transfer from Ethereum to Polygon (Matic) blockchain takes about 7-8 minutes AFTER the transaction is confirmed in Metamask. So, if you want to buy at the very beginning, you should perform this step beforehand. Any additional or unused Ethereum can be withdrawn at any time.

Thoughts
Looking at the success of #hashmasks and the current NFT boom, this is a project that will very sell out within minutes, I hope they are ready for a huge demand and the website is able to handle the traffic. I am hoping to scoop at least one. I think these have a good resell value, especially if you get one of the first 5k at 0.2 eth.
