A belarushian President Alexander Lukashenko is banning Inflation in all ramifications. It's safe to say that the Belarushian President has found his own tactics of tackling Inflation with the intention that any increase in the price of goods and services will be "prohibited" in Belarus. As I was reading through and and also seeing some interpretation, I don't think there is any means stated by President to tackle the inflation par say. This means as of now, he is tackling Inflation by just instilling "prohibition" on any Belarushian who increases his or her own price of goods and services.
This has been effective since on the 6th of October,2022. He was also the president who suggested belarushian citizen to be drinking a drop of vodka everyday to fight off Corona virus.
What economy system does Belarus practice?
Belarus economy system can't really be described but it's somewhat or similar to socialism system of economy. But as the description made by medias it's a "planned economy system" where almost all the goods produced are by the Belarusian government. So it's safe to say that the price of the goods produced are determined by the government.
In the meeting with his government officials he stated that,"Prices cannot go higher... But there are exclusions, and those exclusions are under the control of the [economy] minister and governors," Lukashenka added without providing further details." Source
Is that the reason why the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made the above statement during the last meeting with his officials.
Is inflation a written script and doesn't have any attachments with economy?
In Belarus,with the economy system they practice,is it right to say that the inflation happening in Belarus is caused by the Belarus government itself considering the statement made by the President Alexander Lukashenko? Almost every country of world are battling against inflation right now,it's not only in Belarus. The step Alexander took makes me wonder that maybe the inflation that's happening around the world is all nothing but "scripted"
