According to the latest analysis from Franklin Templeton, the BASE network has received significant attention from SocialFi applications such as Friend.Tech.
The Friend.Tech model attracted attention as it is based on financing social interactions, which has been successful, especially with the free distribution of the “FRIEND” digital currency.
In addition, the BASE network has seen a notable surge in USDC supply on its network, exceeding $2.5 billion.
The latest increase came with Coinbase’s announcement in December 2023 of the possibility of free USDC transfer on the BASE network via the Coinbase wallet, which indicates a strategic step to strengthen the network’s ecosystem and facilitate smooth transactions for users.
Statistics indicate that the BASE network handles approximately 46% of all SocialFi transactions, making this category of applications a critical area for the network’s adoption and expansion.
One notable platform based on the BASE network is Friend.Tech, an exclusive mobile app that monetizes users’ social activities.
The “Friend.Tech” platform allows content makers to generate income by interacting with their audience, as users can purchase “keys” or “shares” for influential people to access their chat rooms in a manner similar to the “Tik Tok” platform.
