A Financial Environment Semantic Potato

It's usually called a field but let's focus on a single potato. My potato. Yeah, I've got no problem if you would focus on my potato. This time.

In general, and in quite...other...conditions, I utilize some brainstorming of concepts associated to a certain topic. Then, when I have them written down in a bubble, pun semi-intended, I put some more thought on connection between some of the concepts in order to build my story. Or narrative, as it's modern to call it these days.

Why do I call it a potato? Just because...

...this totally looks like one.

My train of rambling...let's call it rambling instead of thought...from there on would mostly be connected to unsustainable consumer's behavior of the masses. But, they have been deliberately conditioned into it by way of the art of advertisement. Which is incredibly interesting and which utilizes lots of sound psychological principles which might not work for certain individuals, at least not to the desired levels, but on a mass scale...sound principles and statistical dispersion do the job.

Id Demand is king of the free market, it has been artificially installed. THere's no need for most of the things we demand. But advertisements based on peer pressure, prestige, self-actualization, hedonism, sex drive, etc. (real needs) sell what the ads would like you to associate with those.

And it's the basic principle of the modern style of elaborate advertising — you should associate the product with something that naturally bring you happiness.

And it works past the point that a rational human being would be able to afford it. Because the science behind it all says we're not rational. Our emotions guide our behavior.

I shall cut it here and I would like to invite you to make your own statement based on the concepts you can see within the potato and/or other such concepts that you think of.

Or I shall continue with some of mine soon enough.

Peace!

Manol
