Earlier today, I noticed an account on X Talking about how they earn over $11,000 per month on Twitter, she went on to show proof of receipt of the payment, leaving many people wondering how she does it. There were also verified users who farmed X engagement and earned $500 in a month, which is 22 times less than her actual earnings.
The fact that it was 22 times less was concerning; these guys had far more followers than her, and she only has about 189k. So I decided to look into her account. She literally stated in her tweet that all she does is shit post and farm, and that she is happy to be paid for it.
She admitted to having a YouTube account and struggling to get anywhere, and that X is her dream platform. So I decided to look into her profile, expecting to find a great content creator or something unusual, but there was nothing out of the ordinary. She was a literal Donald Trump fan girl and 80% of her content centered on Donald Trump and this means also speaking ill of Kamala Harris.
Farming Political Content
It goes hand in hand; in order to speak positively about one politician, you must first speak negatively about the opposing candidate, which is primarily what she does. However, this is not the only reason she earns $11,000 per month; there is more.
I decided to check her impressions per post, and they were averaging between 100 and 200k. This was not enough to earn her that much, so I decided to dig deeper. She was an average Twitter user before she began tweeting in support of Trump, and one day she received a retweet from Elon Musk, and that was it.
I knew something had happened along the way. If you do not already know, Elon Musk is a die-hard Donald Trump supporter. If you have not seen the image of Elon Musk jumping at a Trump rally, you should.
Elon's Love For Trump
It may appear strange that the wealthiest man in the world is supporting Donald Trump; he literally appears to have nothing to gain from Trump's election victory, but he stands to gain a lot, but going down that lane will take the sting out of the main theme of this post.
Back to this lady, receiving a retweet from Elon Musk himself was all she needed to become an A-list content creator on X. you know how getting a "share" from Dan on Steemit made you a big earner back on Steemit? That was it.
For this lady, she transitioned from being a multi-purpose creator to a complete Donald Trump creator. In fact, she made a post on the 14th of October about how it was stupid to support Kamala Harris, which again received a retweet from Elon Musk. And she decided to pin it to her profile. Currently, it has nearly 79 million impressions, and the tweet is only about 12 days old.
She then went all in on Donald Trump content
This included convincing her family members to support Trump, and she appears to have gained the attention of some very powerful US voters. These people did not just have hundreds of thousands of followers; some of them had ten times as many as she did. In her comment section, 9/10 of the engagements she received had a blue tick and were from countries where advertising was valuable.
So, what worked for her?
Elon Musk's retweet was instrumental in her success
Elon is the owner of X; receiving a retweet from him means you have made it. Most of his acquaintances are also Donald Trump supporters, and sharing a post with his over 150 million followers means you have already made money.
Let us not forget one thing: she is gorgeous.
The Feminine Marketing Appeal
I wonder if she wasn't a female if she would get that retweet. Anyone could literally support Donald Trump, but it would most likely take a more attractive person to do so. I do not want to discuss the feminine appeal in marketing, but we all know it works wonders.
However, I do not believe that is all there is to it. She clearly identified a niche and capitalized on it. There are many ordinary people with blue ticks talking about Donald Trump, but they have not hit it.
Think About It.....
Unless you do not know how to put two and two together, you should understand how she earned $11,000 USD in one month. Elon Musk has expressed personal interest in her account, which is entirely independent of what she has tweeted.
In Conclusion
I am not saying it is impossible to earn that amount; many public figures are probably earning close to it, but how many people on X with 189k followers earn 11k USD? I do not believe we have. Elon Musk responded to her celebratory post, where she posted proof of earnings. Someone asked her what she planned to do after the US elections, and she apparently did not know.
Although she has most likely cemented her status with Elon and may now earn close to that figure indefinitely, this is the power of connections.
Granted, I preferred Donald Trump to win the election, but I have never made it my job to discuss it; I simply believe he will be better for crypto than Kamala Harris, but someone has taken advantage of it to become a well-paid content creator on X.
"X" money Is Not For Everyone
When X began monetization, a particular Hiver decided to give it a shot, and after a few months, I believe he did not make as much money as he would have expected despite all of his efforts, and this person now tweets for fun without his regular blue tick. Apparently, the subscription could not pay for itself, and it was probably pointless to renew.
The typical blue ticker with 1k to 10k followers would not earn more than $10 per month on X. You need more verified user impressions and engagement, which can be difficult. X is a traditional web2 platform, which once again demonstrates that only about 5 to 10% of creators make a decent living.
