With the crypto bull market ramping up, more people are becoming aware of Hive and joining. If you're new to Hive, welcome! If you've been around for a bit, you know there's a learning curve to it. This can turn some away.
A lot of people join because of the appeal of being rewarded for posting content. They post for a few days and few, if any, of the posts get little or no attention. After a few days of this, no comments, etc., many in this situation become disappointed. At this point, many give up. This is how it often plays out and those who leave aren't likely to come back.
While the name of our project is the Hive Onboarding Committee, encouraging new users and helping them get connected into communities helps Hive continue to grow by lessening the loss of new users.
We're looking for the community's help. We'd like to ask everyone who reads this post to nominate someone they know who has been on Hive a year or less, isn't on the Hive Watchers blacklist, puts out unique content, and could use some encouragement on their posts.
