¡I earned the NFT Jersey of Messi!
Greetings, my dear Hivers friends. This is my first post on @Leofinance.
How does the end of the year treat you? Mine has been moving, many things in a short time that have kept me away from this Blockchain, but here we are with a new anecdote.
There is everything in the Web3 ecosystem
Within the Web3 ecosystem, there are many tools with different usability. We are not obliged to use them all, certainly, but it is very important to know them, to see what they exist and what can be achieved with them.
There’s everything in the lord’s vineyard. Those who leave for the part of Cryptocurrencies, mining or trading, those who delight in the benefits of Metaverse and Virtual Reality, those who create content in Blockchain and those passionate about POAPs and NFTs.
Maybe at this point you don’t know what an NFT is or what usability it can be given. Or maybe you do and this is too basic for you, congrats! What true is, this topic is of great debate in some of the Web3 communities that I am part of, so I think it is very pertinent to talk about this topic, which I am undoubtedly passionate about.
What is an NFT?
NFT can be known by its acronym Non Fungible Token or in Spanish, they are non-expendable tokens. Now, what is something non-expendable? According to the Mexican Federal Civil Code, article 763 states that: "Movable property is fungible or non-expendable. They belong to the first class which can be replaced by others of the same species, quality and quantity. Non-expendable are those that cannot be replaced by others of the same species, quality and quantity." Source
What does this mean?
If you have a piece of furniture, a chair, a table, a fridge, for taking some examples of goods we acquire in our life or have in our house, and these are damaged, deteriorate or break, you will want to replace them and that decision is excellent.
Now, a non-expendable good is one that can NOT be replaced by another equal since it is unique, that came through a unique way to obtain it, you can not copy it, replace it or supplant another equal to the original. And that’s exactly what an NFT is.
Now, how do you get it?
There are NFTs that you can get as a prize, that is, a contest in which you participate and luck favors you.
You can also get an NFT by belonging to some whitelist or allowlist of an NFT project, thanks to which, you can allow the exclusivity to get it with some discount or sometimes, free. Another way is by collaboration with that project and you get it by recognition or payment of that collaboration.
If you work or want to work in a DAO (Which is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization, or as I say "The new form or the Web3 form of what is a company" will give you a Governance Token, which is a type of NFT that will allow you to have a say in any decision that is taken to vote within that DAO.
If none of the above goes with you, you can simply buy it. There are different markets where you can buy them. My advice will always be that you do your own research (DYOR: Do your own research) and look for if the functionality that will have that NFT, the project behind or why it came out on the market goes hand in hand with your beliefs and purpose in the web3 world.
Usability of NFTs/POAPs
A few months ago, in September 2022, the Ethereum Merge took place, which basically represented a change for the network, the end of the consensus stage by work test (or known as proof-of-work) in the network and that means the complete transition to the participation test (or known as proof of stake).
But let’s not get entangled with these terms, the fact is that this was very important for Web3 users, and even more so for those who use Ethereum and this was made an NFT, well, several were made, as it is considered memorable, a historical fact in the Web3 and, therefore, something exciting of which you wanted to have some memory and Ta ran! Several NFTs were made that ran on the Ethereum network, in various price ranges, others only paying the fee (the fee is the commission or gas charged by the network to use it) you had. I was one of the lucky users who took advantage of the moment to store that memory.

And the most recent fact, that we all live to the skin, that Argentina won its Third Cup in the World Qatar 2022, in a fiery and well suffered match against a France that did not want to be beaten so easily, between those decisive penalties and in the middle of tears, sweat, blood, despair and prayers to God. ¡Wow, I got excited, LOL!
Well, from this event so exciting for all football fans, the Argentine national team and Messi many POAPs and NFTs were made so that the celebration of this special moment remained for history.
To continue explaining, a POAP, as its acronym indicates, is a "Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP)", or in Spanish is a "Attendance Test Protocol". This concept appears under the idea of commemorating experiences through the collection of badges in NFT format (Non-expendable Tokens). Here I will show you some POAPs and NFTs that I had to collect.

When you mint a POAP, you can see some information like address or country, who's giving it to you: a person, a community, a DAO, and you can see how many people have minted it.

And here I take the opportunity to tell you that my last acquisition in NFT is the t-shirt of Messi himself, thanks to a contest that teammate Herimax made by his twitter account (@herimax1) Here are images of how the contest was and what it was about, of my participating tweet and the tweet where they announce that I won Yeeeii!

In conclusion
And so, every important fact, historical or not, as well as the realization of courses, workshops, participation in events, your presence in twitter spaces everything can lead you to get a POAP, that intangible and unique good that guarantees having you there, that you participated and thus grow your collection of moments.
Before, you were given the certificate in cardboard, a good that, no doubt, can be lost, broken, wet, lose and lose the certificate of participation and you would not have as prove that you studied on that subject or that you were there, now migrate everything to the Blockchain, where we know that nothing is erased: that what enters the Blockchain is forever.

¿Cómo los trata el fin de año? El mío ha estado movido, muchas cosas en poco tiempo que me han mantenido alejada de esta Blockchain, pero acá estamos con una nueva anécdota.
Hay de todo en el ecosistema Web3
Dentro del ecosistema Web3, hay muchas herramientas con una usabilidad diferente. No estamos obligados a usarlas todas, ciertamente, pero es muy importante conocerlas, ver qué existen y qué se puede lograr con ellas.
Hay de todo en la viña del señor. Los que se van por la parte de Criptomonedas, minería o trading, los que se deleitan con las bondades del Metaverso y la Realidad Virtual, los que creamos contenido en Blockchain y los apasionados por los Poaps y NFTs.
Quizás en este punto no sabes al mil por ciento qué es un NFT o qué usabilidad se le puede dar. O quizás este post resulte ser muy básico para ti, y excelente! Lo que sí es cierto es que, este tema es de gran debate en algunas de las comunidades Web3 de las que formo parte, por lo cual, me parece muy pertinente hablar sobre este tema, que, sin duda, me apasiona.
¿Qué es un NFT?
Un NFT se puede conocer por sus siglas en inglés Non Fungible Token o en español, son tokens no fungibles. Ahora, ¿Qué es algo no fungible?
Según el Código Civil Federal de México, en su artículo 763 indica que:
“Los bienes muebles son fungibles o no fungibles. Pertenecen a la primera clase los que pueden ser reemplazados por otros de la misma especie, calidad y cantidad. Los no fungibles son los que no pueden ser sustituidos por otros de la misma especie, calidad y cantidad.” Fuente
¿Qué quiere decir esto?
Si tienes un mueble, una silla, una mesa, una nevera, por tomar algunos ejemplos de bienes que adquirimos en nuestra vida o tenemos en nuestra casa, y estos se dañan, se deterioran o se rompen, tú vas a querer reponerlos y está excelente esa decisión.
Ahora, un bien no fungible es aquel que NO puede ser sustituido por otro igual, ya que es único, que vino a través de una única forma para obtenerlo, no lo puedes copiar, reemplazar ni suplantar por otro igual al original. Y exactamente eso es un NFT.
Ahora, ¿Cómo lo obtienes?
Hay NFTs que puedes obtener como premio, es decir, algún concurso en el que participas y la suerte te favorece.
También puedes obtener un NFT por pertenecer a alguna whitelist o allowlist de un proyecto NFT, gracias a lo cual, te pueden permitir la exclusividad de obtenerlo con algún descuento o en algunas veces, gratuito. Otra forma es por colaboración con ese proyecto y te lo otorgan por reconocimiento o pago de esa colaboración.
Si trabajas o quieres trabajar en una DAO (Que es una Organización Autónoma Descentralizada, o como yo le digo “La nueva forma o la forma Web3 de lo que es una empresa” te darán un Token de Gobernanza, que es un tipo de NFT que te permitirá tener voz y voto en cualquier decisión que se lleve a votación dentro de esa DAO.
Si nada de lo anterior va contigo, simplemente puedes comprarlo. Hay diferentes mercados donde puedes adquirirlos. Mi consejo siempre será que hagas tu propia investigación (DYOR: Do your own research) y busques si la funcionalidad que tendrá ese NFT, el proyecto detrás o porqué salió al mercado va de la mano con tus creencias y finalidad en el mundo web3.
Usabilidad de los NFTs/POAPs
Hace unos meses atrás, en septiembre de 2022, tuvo lugar la Merge de Ethereum, lo que básicamente representó un cambio para la red, el fin de la etapa de consenso por prueba de trabajo (o conocido como proof-of-work) en la red y que significa la transición completa a la prueba de participación (o conocida como proof of stake).
Pero, no nos enredemos con estos nuevos términos, el hecho es que esto fue muy importante para los usuarios Web3, y más aún para los que usan Ethereum y de esto se hizo un NFT, bueno, se hicieron varios, ya que se considera memorable, un hecho histórico en la Web3 y, por lo tanto, algo emocionante de lo que cual se quería tener algún recuerdo y ¡Ta ran!
Se hicieron varios NFT que corrían en la red de Ethereum, en varios rangos de precios, otros donde solo pagando el fee (el fee es la comisión o gas que cobra la red por usarla) lo tenias.
Fui una de los usuarios afortunados que aprovechó el momento para almacenar ese recuerdo.

Y el hecho más reciente, que todos vivimos a flor de piel, que Argentina ganara su Tercera Copa en el Mundial Qatar 2022, en un partido fogoso y bien sufrido contra una Francia que no quería dejarse vencer tan fácil, entre esos penalties decisivos y en medio de lagrimas, sudor, sangre, desespero y oraciones a Dios. ¡Wow, me emocioné!
De este hecho tan emocionante para todos los fanáticos del fútbol, de la selección argentina y de Messi se hicieron muchos POAPs y NFTs para que quedara para la historia la celebración de este momento tan especial.
Para seguir explicándoles, un POAP, tal y como indican sus siglas, es un “Proof of Attendance Protocol”, o en español es un “Protocolo de Prueba de Asistencia”. Este concepto aparece bajo la idea de conmemorar experiencias a través de la colección de insignias en formato NFT (Tokens No Fungibles).
Acá les voy a mostrar algunos POAPs y NFTs de los que tuve a bien de recolectar.

En conclusión
Y así, cada hecho importante, histórico o no, así como la realización cursos, talleres, participación en eventos, tu presencia en twitter spaces todo puede derivar en que obtengas un POAP, ese bien intangible y único que garantiza con tenerlo que estuviste allí, que participaste y así crecer tu colección de momentos.
Antes te daban el certificado en cartulina, un bien que, sin duda alguna, se puede perder, romper, mojar, extraviar y perderías el certificado de participación y no tendrías como probar que estudiaste sobre ese tema o que estuviste ahí,ahora migra todo a la Blockchain, de donde sabemos que nada se borra: Que lo que entra en la Blockchain es para siempre.
Así como cuando éramos niños y coleccionábamos estampitas, barajitas de álbumes, camisetas de tus personajes favoritos, personajes de series o shows televisivos, chapas o calcomanías, ahora coleccionamos NFTs/Poaps.
