Definitely, it came as a surprise when Central Africa Republic CAR announced officially that it has adopted Bitcoin as its legal tender, becoming the second country in the world to after El Salvador.
In a bid to increase the country's financial strength, adopting Bitcoin as it's official currency was it's best shot.
There's a whole eye looking at how CAR would rise from it's shackles of poverty that has plagued the country for decades and all impossibility in the country's revival is pictures first hand.
Truth is those who know cryptocurrency and the possibility in its rise is inevitable regardless of what happens.
I'd say that Central Africa Republic got into cryptocurrency at the perfect time when Bitcoin had dipped.
The country took not just the world by surprise but its own Central Bank adopting a new legal tender.
Truth is when its time to make that move, there's no holding back.
The picture is clear now that CAR is ready for the world as the president is ready to take the country to a new height as CAR is ready to build a crypto hub with the SANGO Project.
Central Africa Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadéra, took to twitter to make the announcement about the country's move in inviting investors and crypto enthusiast to the country as it builds a crypto hub.
This move is certainly the move that countries embrace to announce it's dynamic move to cryptocurrency to make the world aware that they are free and willing to allow anyone to come in.
There's also a SANGO site to register those that are willing to come in as investors or visitors.
Sure I signed up and was put on a waitlist with a secret code sent via email.
I'm glad that an African country was able to take this shift in embracing cryptocurrency not just that but also as it's official currency.
Thanks for visiting my blog, till next time.
