InLeo - Creator Subscriptions teases us about a new incoming feature

On the HiveFest we've got a new teaser from @khaleelkazi about the incoming Creator Subscription on the InLeo platform and Hive blockchain. This should allow any Premium user on InLeo to have subscriptions for its members as a new revenue stream. This new feature might go live right after the HiveFest and bring another use case for social media on the Hive blockchain. It is amazing what InLeo brought to this ecosystem and how they continue to do so.

The Creator Subscriptions was inspired by Substack subscriptions and it will work by encrypting specific content on the Hive blockchain and enabling subscribers to decrypt that content and digest it. I remember that this method was used also on the VR HiveFest where to entry the conference you would get a secret code as a comment to your account transactions which was encrypted. Having the right key would decrypt that and allow to see it in clear.

An interesting Question from the participants what if the Creator Subscriptions will have any Email integrations in order to serve the premium content to the members. Quite a good question and idea for this new feature and the answer that Khal provided in this regards was that it could come in the form of an Email having a link towards the encrypted content and by accessing it will direct the user to the Hive blockchain and corresponding UI (InLeo) where decryption can take place and content consumed. This looks like a simple improvement and could work as a way to notify the members when new content is available instead of staying watching the blockchain.

What is certain is that Creator Subscriptions is on its way and by adding it to the Premium subscription on InLeo would bring a new revenue channel for its members. And if the members like it and grow it, that will benefit also Premium which should get a boost. And if that gets a boost than the InLeo tokenomics will grow which in the end will benefit the entire participants. As I see it, this is a great circular economy.
