Hi,

the theme for today's #februaryinleo, the initiative for increasing the interaction and the quality of posts, is a recap of the month of February, which falls under #worldontuesday.

The initiative #februaryinleo is coming today to an end. It was announced on the 1st of February, with the first theme on the 2nd of February. I've joined on the 3rd of February, and managed to write daily from then, based on the theme.

I've enjoyed it, as there was a lot of variation in themes, and on most, I could learn something new. On some, I could write of things that I like, like travel, or persons that I can learn from.

It was also challenging, as the posts had to be over 400 words long, where my minimum was 300 words on my posts before. This is a 25% increase. I like to keep them short, but not too short, so the sweet spot was at 300. With this challenge, I might keep the increase and even up it once in a while. Remember, there are 66 days needed to form a habit, so there are at least 40 to go, to make this count.

I enjoyed, that I could see other perspectives from other people, that have been tackling the theme. On some, I liked that even in their poor situation, they have dreams and try to improve their life, to visit and to enrich them and their families. I feel again humble, that I was lucky to be born in the family that I was born in. Even if the life was though at start, everything turned out good. There is no stress on safety for the family, or fear of not having water, food or where to sleep, these basic needs are covered, and I'm grateful for that.

I hope that we can have another initiative like that in the coming months, maybe every two months, if not monthly. It helps with brainstorming, and it trains the mind to adapt to given themes, and as mentioned above, there is stuff to be learnt during the process.

How was the month of February for you? Did you take part in the #februaryinleo challenge? What did you enjoy? What would you suggest as an improvement?

This is part of the initiative #februaryinleo, where you can still participate, even if you missed the post from the start, like I did. All the details are in here and in here.
