It's Sunday, Dec 11th and I'd like to give you an update on #MyHiveGoals ...
This will be my last #MyHiveGoals update for 2022.
Well, I sure wasn't expecting the price of HIVE to drop to sub $0.30 levels. Fortunately, I had some of my funds in stables and when HIVE started dipping, I started copping.
They say that bear markets are for building and that's exactly what I'm doing here.
Why did I buy more HIVE? because I want to have a say in the future of this blockchain I believe in so much. I want to help decide who the block producers are and what projects get funded too. And to do that I need stake. Of course I'm going to continue to create content on this beloved platform, but picking some HIVE up below $.40 Was just an opportunity I couldn't let go.
Why do I think HIVE is undervalued?
Development.
There are new tools being rolled out every month, Leo Finance's micro blogging platform code named Project Blank could be dropping before Christmas, I'm finding about tools built by community members all the time!
It's been said many times before: With so much going on in the HIVE ecosystem, HIVE is going to get pretty dang scarce and I don't want to get caught wishing I'd picked up more HIVE when I had the chance.
What I got rid of
This month I got rid of all HP delegations. I'm only going to be manually curating content for the time being. I had been leasing HP on a platform called DLease, but some of the accounts I was delegating to seemed to be abusing the rewards pool, so I decided to take back all my HP and use it myself.
What I've incorporated into my strategy
Since the launch of Veews I've definitely started using it to discover content that I find educational, valuable or just appealing. Finding content I connect with definitely makes it easier to leave a comment, start a discussion or leave someone a pat on the back. So hats off to the Veews crew for putting together an amazingly useful tool.

As you can see, I've overshot my Dec 2022 goal by a decent amount. So I might have to set a new goal for myself. Maybe I'll change the dates. It is entirely possible that I will reach 100K before December 2026 (my originally projected date to reach my goal)
